#GOPOETHICK2016: POETRY: A VOICE FROM THE WATERS

Sometimes, what holds our strength is the muscles to move on. Those times,  tendons and cartilages fail.  They become feeble like quick sands.  Those times,  words,  just words,  do the magic.

It takes us from that situation like the tides of an ocean to a mountain or climax of pleasure.

Too many do not know that words calm the muscles. So GoPoethick cares about your mental well-being. We care about societal health too.  We would wash you off your situations like water, in the ambience of soft music,  poetry,  drama,  and other side attractions.

It's #July15.

However, enjoy...

A VOICE FROM THE WATERS

mother,  seeing you again,
is seeing a ghost in the skin of men,
you are a shovel that dig bones of memories
but I am not a dog that crave for bones,
I am man. I am man. I am man.

dying is waking in another city
i hear about tourism in heaven
and hell and the subway that leads no where
so I sit by the shore dreaming about what happens
when the world drops dead at my feet;
when seas paddle a broken boat
should I run after tides or just sit and wait for stars
to become gazers, onlookers,  pedestrians
caught by my sheer innocence?

mother, you didn't teach me how to catch breath,
when you left I became nose in water,
air is life but their is life in dying,
there is death in a life that does not know how to walk,
mother, you didn't teach me to count my fingers
you didn't tell me the names of demons,
you didn't tell me the secret of sons and the myths of sun
what you told me to do was to live
so I'm living in this water
till I'm floating like a carcass.
