"This is not my real face o" was the voice that followed the last edition of "Go Poethick" last year (Check pictures here . We are about to launch something more exciting and extraordinary. Can you imagine Poetry, music, and arts together on one platform.

One of the unimaginable sceneries ever, with 15 top notch Nigerian poets (that would be unveiled soon), soft folk musical blend from one of the custodians of folk music in Nigeria (To be unveiled soon, *He has dada* hair).

Epic theatrical performance by Dramatic Arts Department of Obafemi Awolowo University. These and many more are what we are about to launch, sooner than you expect. Watch this space....

#GoPoethick2016: Call for Literary partners, media partners and volunteers

#Gopoethick2016 has been set up to accomplish unlimited possibilities. In the light of this, we want to call on literary bodies, media agencies (Social media, magazines, newspapers, photographers,online magazines, bloggers), and every brand that has to do with media to come and partner with us, in other to achieve this possibilities. The date has not yet been publicly announced.

As regarding volunteers, we need as many volunteers as possible in carrying out the plans of our LOC for the event.

#GoPoethick2016: Second Edition of the Annual Poetry, Music and Arts Festival

Go Poethick 2016
Go Poethick 2016 shall take a different form; a break-away from the norm, that has been the trend in literary convergences. It has been broken into two days of Poetry, Music, book show case, Fun, scintillating photography, and many more possibilities.

Day 1, being the major event, will feature a book exhibition, 15 solid performances from top-notch Nigerian poets. In addition, there would be an epic theatrical performance from the Dramatic Arts department of Obafemi Awolowo University, as well as exhibitions of art works.

Day 2: The second day of the event is set for a rugged mountaineering exercise accompanied with a platform for poetry reading on the ancient mountain situated within the Obafemi  Awolowo University Campus.
We intend to partner with renowned literary bodies as well as media agencies both on screen and print to create an unforgettable experience


So, we are currently in need of sponsors/ supports from brands, individuals, anyone who would be glad to see that this event results in great success.
